호밀밭 (Homilbat), Where to Get Bingsu in Sinchon

If you feel like having a bowl of Bingsu (re: shaved ice with red beans), you should come to Homilbat. Homilbat is a popular bingsu cafe located in Sinchon. Due to its location, the cafe is always crowded, mostly with the nearby university students. When Noona asked her Korean friends what makes Homilbat different from the other dessert cafe, her Korean friends answered that it is because Homilbat is known for making its own red bean paste from scratch, and not the canned red bean. With all the good review, let's go to Homilbat!

How does the ordering go? For a start, you can choose what kind of shaved ice you'd like. The usual choices are either the Milk Bingsu (Red Bean Milk Sherbet) or Green Tea Bingsu (Red Bean Green Tea Sherbet). There is also Coffee Bingsu on the menu. You can then order add-ons to the bingsu. Noona, being her usual greedy self, decided to add on cut fruits to her bingsu. Oh right, the red beans will be served on a separate bowl. So you can add them on your bingsu by yourself.

After adding on the red bean, Noona is officially a greedy woman. Her size of bingsu is magnified even more with the addition of the red bean. But then again, Mom always says that fruits are healthy. Tee-hee.
