K-in-Singapore: Sunday Folks, Holland Village
Anyeong! Noona is finally back after a few days of depression without a working Mac to accompany her nights (Lenovo accompanies her in the office during the day). She went to the repair center only to be told that her Mac model is considered "vintage" and hence even if there is anything to repair, the repair center won't be able to nurse it back to health. Ouch.
To cut story short, she got herself a replacement, a new lover, in the color of Rose Gold. Welcome to Noona's world, dear iPad Pro. <3
So...let's start blogging with this new baby. Since Noona is not used to blogging via iPad yet, let's do a simple blog post on her favorite topic, food. Sweet food. LOL. So last Saturday, Noona and her bae went to this very popular ice cream parlor at Holland Village area. If you are familiar with the area, you may have spotted a forever long-queue in front of Sunday Folks, especially around 8-ish at night (after dinner time).
Sunday Folks specializes in three items, ice cream, waffles and cakes. So yep, this is the cafe to be if you are looking for a sweet ending after your meal around Holland Village in Singapore. Bae has been raving about the waffle but it does not sound right if you order waffle without ice cream. It's like eating with spoon without forks, or even it's like eating Oreo cookies without the white filling. Ok, weird analogy. Never mind.
After a few minutes of deliberation, we decided to order pistachio ice cream + one waffle + two toppings. There is a wide variety of toppings that you can choose from. Sauce is considered as one topping so choose carefully. Our first choice topping is chocolate covered honeycomb bits.
While our second topping, makes the whole things extra sinful and yet less beautiful because apparently Bae just poured the Nutella sauce anyhow on the ice cream waffle. LOL.
Verdict: Happiness level shot up to heaven. Enough said.
