4D3N Bali Trip: W Retreat & Spa Bali, Seminyak
Good morning! Ah Saturday~~~, the day Noona can relax and wake up naturally without having to set her alarm clock. A day that you know gonna be amazing from the start. Now, if only Noona can spend the morning walking by the beach, that would be even more awesome but let's just be grateful by what we have, shall we.
Talking about the beach, Noona has been hearing great review about W Retreat & Spa Bali in Seminyak but has never managed to book a room there as it is very difficult to book a room for 3 people in Bali (either the hotel charges exorbitant additional price or the hotel just refuse straightaway). But, our driver in Bali told us that W Retreat & Spa Bali allows visitors to view their hotel complex without having to spend the night. So here we are on an adventure (or a survey?) to W Retreat & Spa Bali.
Once your car making a turn to enter W, you will be welcomed by the amazingly beautiful entrance of the hotel. The grand bamboo entrance of W Retreat & Spa Bali has been featured in a lot of articles in the magazines and blogs alike. Noona thinks the background will make a superb background for pre-wedding and wedding pictures. Don't you agree? But, it is super irritating to take picture here with the background during crowded hours though because both cars and motor vehicles will keep on passing by and hence, photobombing your picture. #patiencepeople
The hotel restaurant (which Noona assumes will be the breakfast venue for hotel guests) looks very cozy from upstairs. It is a high ceiling type of restaurant. Oh right, you will not be able to order anything in W if you are not a hotel guest. The hotel staff will not chase you out though.
Let's check out the swimming pool. The atmosphere surrounding W basically screams the word "CHILL". A lot of hotel guests are spotted chilling out under the umbrella or on on top of the pink floats which also looks so damn cozy. Noona starts to get jealous at these people. Next time, maybe.
You can also make reservation to book the sunset viewing gazebo. The gazebo looks so fun with a pop of yellow, purple and red lips cushion. Noona managed to snap a fun picture here without being warned in a friendly way that this gazebo is booked. 알았어...
W Retreat & Spa Bali has a private access to the beach but we were too lazy to walk to the beach and the sun is still scorching hot at 3.30PM. #lazynoona
