K-in-Singapore: Sen of Japan, Marina Bay Sands
Anyeong! Noona is now back in Singapore (with a tons of pending pictures to edit from her recent trip to Bali) and despite her target to eat less, she immediately got dragged into a team lunch. Oh gosh. But anyway, boss' treat so Nonna would let this slide and accept this rare occasion with open arms. Hahaha.
It was also one of Noona's colleague's birthday so we went to another colleague's picked venue, Sen of Japan, a Japanese restaurant located at Marina Bay Sands. The restaurant is located pretty far from the MRT station because it is nearer to the Arts Science Museum. So be prepared to walk for a bit of a distance to reach the restaurant. It's still a comfortable distance to walk through though. Hahaha. Don't be lazy!
Sen of Japan was having a promotion of SGD 1 chawanmushi (the Japanese steamed tofu). It was pretty good deal because there is roe on the chawanmushi and the steamed tofu is filled with chicken and mushroom. Yumz.
Sen of Japan offers lunch set and Noona feels the lunch set is more worth it than the ala carte and one of the lunch sets feature grilled teriyaki salmon which looks pretty healthy. Hehe. The rest of the items given in the set are the same for other type of sets.
The tempura side is pretty nice and crisp to perfection. Nom nom.
But Noona still loves the grilled salmon the most. Yummy.
Oh right, at the end, we gave a bouquet of flowers to our birthday colleague. Noona personally wishes none of her colleague will give her this because well, what's she gonna do about it? Other than admiring it for a while and then let it wither. Oh gosh, Noona is totally not the romantic type. Wonder what kind of loving husband will she have in future. =P
