Anyeong Noona

Her look: 

It has been a while since Noona saw Uee as After School does not seem to make a comeback anytime soon and each member is currently busy doing their own things. Uee seems to be a better actress than singer but that's just Noona's personal opinion. Nonetheless, Uee looks great in whatever she does, including modelling for a magazine. Since it's summer day now, it's time to take out our summer dresses from the wardrobe. Don't forget the sandals!

Her Look

Noona has randomly stumbled upon UEE's photoshoot for InStyle magazine last year. UEE is so pretty, she managed to look so flawless and fairy-like in that photoshoot, which was shot inside what seems to be a rose garden. Even though we may not have garden (and hence, must go and probably even pay for an access to a lovely garden outside), we can achieve that simple fairy style #ootd that UEE wore for this photoshoot. #thereishope

UEE's shoot is purposely done in a way with some sort of filter which makes the picture look washed out. This means that the color of that dress and the shoes in real life should be brighter than the photoshoot. Noona thinks peach color may work well because the washed out peach color will look kinda pinkish (depending on which filter that you are using). #vivaphotoediting

If you are those girls who only keep white and black clothes in her wardrobe, well you are not alone. It does not mean you can't come out from your house looking all chic and stylish though. A simple white tee and black skater skirt can really give a style statement on the street. 

Noona has always made a separation between work wear and weekend casual wear. However, due to her personal tighten-up-belt movement recently, Noona has been forced to look for some inspiration to wear work wear on a weekend. Without looking like a workaholic of course.

Turns out a great way of wearing a shirt on a weekend is by pairing the shirt with a short pants. No idea how? Thanks goodness, UEE is here to show us how. 

What is enjoyable about watching a Korean drama is to watch what the main characters are wearing in the drama. The storyline can be a bonus but to be honest, most of the time, I just enjoy watching the clothes. =P

Especially if the drama shows me that you can apparently be amazingly stylish (and cute too!) when you are doing your daily errand, like buying coffee. And cakes too. Or pastry. Or tarts. Or whatever. UEE's clothes look simple and yet the whole ensemble looks great and refreshing on a summer day. A thing to note about this look is to match the color of the stripes and the skirt. In UEE's case, it's blue. 

Do you know the dilemma of wanting to wear sweater because the air-conditioned room is so cold but it's hot outside? Well, for a start, there is nothing wrong with wearing sweater on a summer day. And to make it even better, autumn is just around the corner. For the transition period from summer to autumn, it's a good time to take fashion inspiration from UEE, by combining sweater in a sporty way.
