Steal Her Look: Ha Ji Won's Casual Summer by Bang Bang

Her Look:

Noona has actually just heard about one Korean fashion brand named Bang Bang until she saw the news about Ha Ji Won being the face of Bang Bang. Hahaha. Apparently Bang Bang is a casual Korean fashion wear and since it is officially summer now, there's no harm in getting some inspiration from Bang Bang's latest summer collection. Especially when Ha Ji Won is the one showing off some summer style. T-shirt and shorts are always a good pair whenever you want to take a stroll in a summer day. Since the pictorial is for Bang Bang's advertisement, all the items to get this look are definitely from the same brand. So let's explore this brand further.

Steal Her Look: Hyomin's Little White Dress

Her Look:

Noona tends to over accessorise herself whenever she wears a plain white dress. However, it seems that plain is the in thing for summer. Hyomin has shown in her pictorial for Sperry Korea that it is possible to work some style while wearing a simple little white dress and pairing it with a pair of white shoes. So if you are looking for ideas on what to wear to walk in the park, you can take this fashion inspiration from Hyomin.

Kimbap Party at Seoul Roll, Raffles City

Nowadays we have so many type of sushi roll available in Singapore. There is one Aussie Roll in the basement level of Chevron House at Raffles Place and now, we have one Seoul Roll in the basement level of Raffles City at City Hall. What's so interesting about this stall?

For a start, Seoul Roll sells something that the Korean refer to as kimbap. However, customers can choose the filling of the kimbap as Seoul Roll offers a lot of different varieties for the filling from fried pork to tuna to bulgogi to kimchee. Customers can choose the type of rice that they want to from the normal white rice to the healthier mixed grain rice (top up 50 cents).

The trademark Seoul Roll consists of rice (which Noona changed into brown rice), carrot, radish pickle, budok root, cucumber, eggs, luncheon meat and kimchee.

It tastes pretty good and suitable for people who do not want to eat heavy meal. As it is not that filling, Noona is able to finish the drink from the neighboring stall too, iced milk tea. Slurp.

Steal Her Look: Nana's Blue Bardot Top

It seems that this summer's most displayed body parts is the shoulders. This is a bad news for people who are top heavy because our shoulder blade will not be so sexy. Well, Noona's shoulder blade is definitely not as sexy as Nana's but that does not mean we should not embrace this latest summer trend, the bardot tops. For those who has the confidence and the sexy shoulder blade, bardot tops are definitely good assets to have.

How to get the look:

1. Tie front off the shoulder top, $40.44 from River Island

2. Blue long sleeves striped bardot top, KRW 49,900 (USD 42.53) from Mixxo

3. Patterned bardot top, KRW 49,900 (USD 42.53) from Mixxo

4. Stripe smock bardot blouse, GBP 28 (USD 39.96) from Topshop

Tips to Make Rainbow Hair Works from Jessica Jung

The latest pictorial of Jessica and Jay Park for Adidas is simply awesome. Rainbow is not new. The top Korean model, Irene Kim, has been sporting the look for months now. But the hair color looks so amazing on Jessica. Kinda makes Noona want to sport the same hairstyle but she would probably be summoned by the HR department in the office the next day. LOL. So, how to make this rainbow hairstyle works?

1. Pair it with a dark top

Tips to Make Rainbow Hair Works from Jessica Jung

As your hair has made a style statement in its own, you can tone down the look a bit by pairing it with a dark top and what is better than black? Adidas is known for its classic black and white top (in fact, even Noona, the fashion noob, has it).

2. Make it pop

When you want to make your style pop, a neon color definitely will do the work. But since the hairstyle is so colorful, it's best to steer clear from yellow, orange and red. Electric blue seems to do the work quite well. If it does not work, Adidas won't let Jess wear blue from neck down to feet. Hahaha.

3. Don't forget your cool hat

Rainbow hair and floral cap looks so matchy-matchy together. This will make a great profile picture in your social media platform, no?

360 Degrees View of Seoul, Namsan Seoul Tower Observatory

Noona has always viewed observatory as a place to get a different perspective, a different point of view. She supposes it's because most observatories tend to be quiet and zen.

You can use the binocular which direction has been set to popular landmark in Seoul for free.

A lot of cute souvenirs can be found at the souvenir store located in the middle of the observatory.

The Koreans are really into writing messages everywhere, really. There is a section inside the observatory set up as a writing block where visitors can purchase a wooden block and write about their feeling and experience here. Some visitors are being creative by writing directly on the empty space without purchasing the block. LOL.

Nice view of Myeongdong from the top. What should Noona have for dinner? Which store she hasn't visited yet? Hahaha Myeongdong is really all about food and shop.

But since Noona and her friend have taken a lot of efforts to climb up here, let's enjoy a cafe moment at Namsan Observatory cafe. Yum!
