K-in-HongKong: History of Smurfs at Harbour City
Anyeong! Anyone here is a fan of Smurfs? If you are interested in the history, character introduction and behind the scenes of the making of Smurfs, you will like this post. The Smurfs' exhibition which was held at Harbour City in Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong, has ended now but no worry, Noona manages to take a lot of pictures from the exhibition to share with you. The exhibition includes some time-machine article showing you how the Smurfs were originally created. The Smurfs have lasted so many years and they are still popular until the present time.
The Smurfs started as a comic book, Noona thinks around the same era with Tintin or Lucky Luke, if anyone knows. Oh right, do you know who created and wrote The Smurfs? They are created by Belgian comic artist, Peyo (Real name, Pierre Culliford).
On the same wall, you can see the many characters of the Smurfs and their unique characteristics. Noona always wonders how come Grouchy Smurf keeps on being grouchy all the time. Hahaha.
Some limited edition figurines of our friends are also on display. The figurines are made from various materials from wood, silver, plastic, etc.

Peyo's desk, where the magic of the Smurfs was created. If Noona has this kind of desk, she's quite confident that she will be able to created something awesome too. This desk basically screams "invention". Hahaha, okay, she probably exaggerate the power of the table. Quite sure the real magic began in Peyo's brain instead.
Cook Smurf and Greedy Smurf were totally created for each other. Noona wish she found her own Cook Smurf (cause she loves to eat and hence, she's more suitable being the Greedy Smurf). LOL.
