Anyeong Noona

Hahaha this is a pretty random post but Noona can't help but wondering where is IU and what is she doing now. Sounds like stalker, she knows. =P

So, as usual, she employs her friends to find out about IU and it turned out IU is currently busy shooting for a historical drama titled Moon Lovers. The drama has the same storyline as its Chinese counterpart, Scarlet Heart (Bu Bu Jing Xin). IU looks so pretty in her costume, oh my gawd. Noona totally fell in love. #forbiddenlove 

The following sentence has surely popped by into our mind, no matter how old we are, where we are, and what we are doing. 

Before we know it, it is already the third day of the year 2016. Have everyone had a great winter break? Oh right, first of all, let Noona wishes everyone a happy new year. Wishing everyone to have a happy year ahead. Noona herself has went home for Christmas and spent a wonderful time with her family for the last week (without internet and hence, the lack of posting in that particular week).

Okay, enough about the new year. It's time for another K-Fashion inspiration post. And since we are still in the midst of winter (unless you are residing in a tropical countries not affected by 4 seasons), let's take a look at another winter fashion inspiration. For the first inspiration of the year, Noona chose to look at IU's style of green coat. Who knows green can be so...stylish? 

There are so many tones of greens but Noona does not think it's right to wear light green coat in the middle of winter so it may be wiser to choose something khaki or teal instead. The first option falls on Olive Hooded Coat by Choies. The coat is currently on sale from USD 93.99 to USD 62.99. Sweet!

Three months after the release, Noona is still enjoying IU's latest album called "23". IU is of course busy doing the promotional activities for her album up to now by doing a lot of show performances all around Seoul (Noona wishes IU to come to Singapore too but oh well). Noona wishes IU well from afar here. But in the meantime, let's check out what Noona is wearing for one of her stage performances in South Korea. IU is spotted wearing black floral lacey top and she pairs it with pink skater skirt. Now, this will make a good cute #ootd. 

Denim is really everywhere this year and even though we are now at the end of the year, it does not mean that is the end for denim conquest. The only denim clothes that Noona has not tried yet is the denim jumper (and jumpsuit but jumpsuit is too bothersome to wear especially when you are in a hurry to the washroom..lol). If you think denim jumper is too old school, you may want to see how IU makes denim jumper works in one of her advertorial photoshoot for SBENU (SBENU is actually Korean brand for shoes but Noona fell in love with the denim jumper first. XD). 

Recently, IU has received a lot of criticism from the netizens regarding one of her songs in her latest mini album, 23. Ironically, the most debated song titled "Zeze" is Noona's most favourite from all her songs in that particular album. Interpretation wise, Noona does not really read the book from where IU got her inspiration on. And to be honest, music is a matter which is highly subjected to each individual's interpretation so Noona supposes if you enjoy the music, you have the right to like it. If you don't enjoy the music, you can just throw it to the side without really hunting the singer (who happens to compose the song). Oh crap, this whole paragraph went totally off topic. Hahaha.

Okay, let's go back to the main topic here, IU's fan-meeting look for her latest mini album, 23. People can criticise her song but with that kind of beauty, who can criticise her look and her style? IU worn formal blue blouse with a grey skirt. The whole look looks so preppy and suits IU so much. Noona is totally a fan of this look. <3

Noona is going to Australia next year for the big birthday celebration. What's so special about birthday? It happens that Noona's and her high-school-friend-turn-bestie's birthdays are only a week apart and we celebrated our birthday overseas back then in 2013 (in a cute Hello Kitty Sweets Cafe and Modern Toilet Restaurant in Taipei). So we were thinking of re-enacting our sweet birthday celebration at those unusual places overseas next year (and at the same time giving us excuse to go for a holiday).

Right, with that being planned, it's gonna be summer in Australia so what should Noona wear on the beach? She does not want to look too boring and yet does not want to look too complicated either.
