If you love paintings and you love vanity, you should definitely visit Trick Eye Museum when you are in Hongdae. The museum is not really easy to find. After getting lost here and there, we finally found the museum location. To be honest, it kinda looks like neighbourhood office building from outside.
The ticket for Trick Eye Museum costs 15,000 KRW. It opens all year round so you can come here any day you want to.
The Trick Eye Museum has a collections of paintings which are created using 'trompe l'oeil' techniques. This means the 2D paintings are able to create an illusion of being in 3D.
And to make it even more fun, visitors can interact with all the paintings here. Noona can play see-saw with the painting, Isn't this fun?
The collection of the paintings is changed between certain period of time. I suppose Trick Eye Museum may rotate its paintings between its three locations at Seoul, Busan and Jeju. Oh boy, is that a money vault? #distracted
Huh, where did my friend go? Noona can only see her head.
How to go to Trick Eye Museum in Hongdae?
