Shirayuki Japanese Desserts and Bistro, Mal Taman Anggrek Jakarta
Recently a lot of cute cafes are popping up here and there in Noona's beloved home town, Jakarta. So Noona decided to have a meet-up session with her high school friends in one of these cute cafes, Shirayuki Japanese Desserts and Bistro at Mal Taman Anggrek, one of the popular shopping malls in Jakarta. We frequently patron this mall because it is located conveniently near our houses and our high school last time. Time flies.
As it is a cafe specialises in Japanese desserts (which is known for its creativity), the desserts sold here are pretty much lovely to take picture and display on Instagram. For a start, this funky dessert named Fried Chocolate Mars Bar Fusion set with chocolate syrup. Right, that's a mouthful but in essence, it is a mixture of green tea and chocolate soft-served ice cream which is served on top of fried Mars Bar chocolate and tiny marshmallow cubes.
The next dessert really wow-ed me out because it is served in the shape of Minion. It is Minion cotton candy served with green tea ice cream and red bean. I have to admit that this is quite a creative dessert to serve. Hahaha.
