Steal Her Look: Shin Se Kyung’s Chic in Red
While her dramas often end up somewhat lacklustre, Shin Se Kyung has managed to daze Noona in whatever she’s wearing in her various drama. Black Knight has given her a lot of fashion inspiration despite the fact that she won’t be able to wear any winter OOTD in this crazy hot tropical country named Singapore. But anyway, we can still get the bag if we can afford it somehow...maybe. Or maybe we can travel to winter countries and voila, a chance to wear red coat and with black slingbag. Yes? No?
Noona would like to vote for red coat to exist in any woman’s wardrobe because after all red is such a flattering color. The red coat from Korean fashion label, Tint Rose, costs USD 285 on its website (www.tintrose.com) and it is one of the most popular item amongst the the label’s creations. Noona supposes its popularity was boosted somehow by the drama, Black Knight. If you are, however staying in a tropical country where it’s forever summer here, Noona thinks you can still work the look but substitute the thick coat with blazer instead. Now if only, we can find similar color for the blazer...
In the spirit of lunar new year, Noona thinks that red color will work as well as maroon to be pair with that classy black Celine Trotteur bag. How about pairing the red double breasted blazer (is that a typo there?) from River Island with it? The red blazer costs 89.90 SGD.
Actually blazer will also work well if you are travelling in spring or transition from spring to summer where the weather is sunny but the wind is still pretty chilly. So an outfit idea for spring maybe? If red is too strong for you, you can opt for pink instead since spring is all about the pastel color. Zalora happens to have one pink scrunch sleeve blazer at SGD 54.90 now if you are interested in one. Pink blazer is nicer to pair with black top intead of white though.
Right, how about the bag? Noona can’t help but admiring that classic black Celine Trotteur bag which has a price tag of SGD 2,800 (i.e. more than 3x her monthly rental). *cry in broken Korean*
