5D4N Melbourne Trip: Hello Flinders!

Anyeong from Melbourne! This is actually quite a late post because the trip was done back in early March where the weather is still hot (Australia is experiencing winter now) but due to other things in life, Noona only has time to start writing on her travelogue to Melbourne now. Melbourne is such a fine city and Noona is quite happy with her hotel's location which is ride outside the city centre of Melbourne. Noona touched down in Melbourne in the afternoon and she immediately up for a city-tour (by her own creation, of course). Her first task is to reach Flinders Station without getting lost or distracted along the way.

The first landmark that she passed turned out to be the famous Queen Victoria Market. The market was already closed though because Noona arrived in Melbourne on a Sunday and the market closes pretty early on Sundays (like 3 PM, my goodness).

That does not mean the whole place is deserted though. A lot of people walked in the main street of Melbourne's city centre (which Noona thinks goes by the way of Elizabeth Street). Cafes seem to open until slightly later (probably 5-ish).

As the weather is so hot, Noona took a shortcut at somewhere along Little Bourke Street or Little Collins Street, she's not sure but the shopping mall gives up a very Victorian vibe.

Noona means...look at that decoration. Feels like she's in a vintage European house.

The Art of Dr. Seuss has its own store/ exhibition hall inside this vintage-y mall. Too bad it's already closed by the time Noona's passing by. :(

Finally, first task - ticked! To be honest with you, this was not a very difficult task to do because you just need to walk in straight direction to the south (to be exact to the river's direction). But still, Noona was pretty proud of it. XD
