3D2N Bandung Trip: Farmhouse Susu Lembang

A trip to Bandung would not be completed without a visit to Lembang, a district which is located on higher grounds and popular with tourists from Bandung. The problem is, the main road to Lembang is forever plagued with bad traffic. However, sometimes one thing leads to another. Our bad traffic experience has made us noticing an interesting place named Farmhouse Susu Lembang. "Susu" means milk in Bahasa and Noona seriously thought Farmhouse is some kind of a place where you can observe cows, milk them and drink the milk.

3D2N Bandung Trip: Farmhouse Susu Lembang

However, Noona was so wrong. Farmhouse Susu Lembang is actually a mini theme park which adopts the setting of a European old town. There are so many things which can be found inside Farmhouse from a souvenir store, a costume rental store, restaurants, and a garden.

Retro European decoration can be found at every nook and cranny of Farmhouse Susu Lembang.

Souvenir Store at Farmhouse Susu Lembang Bandung

The souvenir store at Farmhouse is very interesting as it has quite a collection of both vintage and modern goods. It offers goods ranging from house decoration, kitchen wares to souvenirs.

Anyone fancy a pretty looking watering tool?

Or blue and white porcelain? Noona doesn't think they are made from real porcelain though as the prices don't justify the material. Good enough for display purpose though.

Snacks lovers will immediately recognise these magnets. All of these magnets are designed similar to popular Indonesian snacks and biscuits from Chitato, Lays, Chiki Ball to Tango and Genji biscuits.

Noona prefers to eat the real ones instead of buying the magnet though.

Steal Her Look: Bora's Summer Day

Her Look:

Noona really loves this summer photoshoot of two lovely ladies from SISTAR. Have you watched their latest MV "I Like That"? The ladies just took their first win on "Show Champion", one of the many music shows in South Korea. Do watch the MV when you are free.

But now, since it's summer, let's talk about a simple and yet cook summer style sported by the two ladies. Noona would like to discuss Bora's summer style first because well, she happens to have the necessary items required to recreated Bora's look, the white t-shirt and the denim shorts.

Steal Her Look: Jessica's Colorful Top and Mid-length Denim Skirt

Her Look:

Hello everyone, how has this week been treating you so far? Noona can't believe that tomorrow is only Wednesday. She starts to wonder if the saying "do what you love so that you don't have to work a day in your life" will happen to her anytime soon. If you are talking about what Noona loves, hmm, Noona is not sure what she really likes to apart from shopping. Oh well, commenting on what other people wear works well too especially if that other people is so pretty like Jessica. Hong Kong Marie Claire did a photoshoot for the cover of magazine back in end of 2015 but Noona has only seen the cover page now. Jessica wears a colorful top and pair its with a mid-length A-line denim skirt. This turns out to be a nice combination of outfit.

Dakgalbi Feast at Yoogane, Bugis Junction

Noona still remembers that one dinner in Myeongdong where she and her friend got into some kind of "lost in translation" situation with the Korean waitress of a dakgalbi restaurant named Yoogane. However, all is forgiven after she helped us cook the dakgalbi which taste so heavenly especially when you are hungry. The aftertaste lasts until the present day...

...but now, we, dakgalbi lover, don't have to travel all the way to Myeongdong to enjoy dakgalbi feast at Yoogane. It's because it has finally opened a branch in Singapore. Hooray. To be exact, the branch is located at Bugis Junction.

Dakgalbi Feast at Yoogane, Bugis Junction

The queue to secure a table at Yoogane is always long especially on weekends. And there is a minimum order placed of two sets of the same meal. This requirement basically sieves out lone or couple diners because there is no way you can finish two sets of dak galbi by one or two mouths to share. That's why Noona only made her way here when she could grab her two friends to share the calorie with her. We ordered the famous dish on the menu, the Cheese Dak Galbi. Yes, the yellow thing on the outer ring is all cheese...

Cheese Dak Galbi at Yoogane Bugis Junction Singapore

The cheese dak galbi basically contains the signature tender chicken meat marinated in the unique Yoogane sauce, fresh vegetabls, rice cakes, and Korean ramyeon. Dip the chicken meat in the melted cheese for ultimate heavenly dining experience.

Yummy Cheese Dak Galbi at Bugis Junction Singapore

The dish is just nice to share amongst three to four people. Everyone pretty much enjoyed the dish.

How to go to Yoogane:

1. Take the MRT to Bugis MRT Station
2. Make your way to level 2 from the escalator in front of Baskin Robbins
3. You will see Yoogane right after you have alighted from the escalator

Trading hours:

11AM to 10PM daily

Missha x Line Friends Make Up Collaboration is Now for Sale in Singapore

Finally the Missha x Line Friends make up ranges is available for grab at Missha outlets in Singapore. The collection is actually nothing new as it has been launched in Korea way earlier this year (around January 2016, perhaps?). Well, as a Line Friends fan, Noona made sure that she's amongst the first customers to go on the 1st day the collection is available.

Missha x Line Friends Make Up Collaboration is Now for Sale in Singapore

Turned out Noona visited the outlet too early as the sole salesperson girl was still busy arranging for the items to be on display. Talk about kiasu-ism. Noona thought Singaporean is pretty big on Line Friends item (she still remembered her missing out on Vans x Line Friends collection...*cry*) but surprisingly Missha outlet was pretty much empty with only Noona and another customer at that time. The other customer did not even bother checking Line Friends make up. *gasp*

Missha Lipstick Sally Line Friends

Oh well, whatever. As long as Noona can get her hands on Sally lipgloss line, she's a happy girl. Noona actually looking for something more peachy but this color is the less pinky range available for Sally lipstick so she just grabbed it at the price of S$24.90.

Missha Sally Lipstick Pink Singapore

The salesperson girl asked Noona to come back another day because she would have finished putting everything on display the next day but in the meantime, let's just check out the make up range from the brochure.

Missha x Line Friends Make Up Collection in Singapore

It seems that there are more things available for this collection. Should Noona get Brown lipstick for herself?

Or how about a handcream? Cleanser? Essence? Oh my gawd, the list never ends.

She will surely drag her friend who's also crazy about Line Friends to Missha outlet once upon a lunch time.

3D2N Bandung Trip: Arrived at Hotel Mercure Bandung Setiabudi

With the rising prices and all, a lot of people prefer to spend lesser money on their travelling. And that includes Noona. Noona loves travelling but she doesn't think she can afford spending a minimum of S$3k everytime she travels out of Singapore. So this time Noona and her la familia decided to go somewhere in Indonesia, a hip city named Bandung.

Our travel starts with the dongsaeng driver being hungry. We totally could not let this situation worsen as dongsaeng driver knows the city pretty well so we followed his stomach intuition to the nearest noodle restaurant in Bandung, Mie Rica Kejaksaan (re: Rica Noodle Kejaksaan).

Bakmi Rica Kejaksaan Bandung

The noodle is really spicy so if you don't really love eating spicy food, Noona suggests you ask the minced pork rica sauce to be served separately. It really makes Noona sweat but she loves spicy food so yeah, this pretty much taste good. You can also order other non-spicy type of noodle like Beef Rib Noodle or Minced Meat Noodle (without rica).

Once dongsaeng driver has regained energy, we immediately made our way to the hotel (which we booked on the spot), Hotel Mercure Bandung Setiabudi. The hotel price is really reasonable and it is quite new. Convinced by a lot of good reviews in Agoda and Tripadvisor alike, Noona booked two rooms in Mercure and well, it does not disappoint.

The bedroom designed with a pop of purple color (sofa and curtain). The beds are so comfortable, Noona immediately fell in love with them.

There is no bath tub inside but it's okay, Noona can live with a shower. As long as the bathroom is clean and bright, Noona is a happy guest.

The view from the balcony is so lovely. Guests can choose to enjoy a lazy afternoon by the pool or at pool-side cafe.

The pool is pretty popular with the younger guests. Noona did not bring swimsuits nor that she planned to swim in Bandung so yeah, let's give the pool a miss. Anyway, it's so crowded with kids. But if you are coming with the kids, you may really enjoy this facility.

One night at Hotel Mercure Bandung Setiabudi costs on average 1,300,000 Rupiah (e.g. less than USD 100).

Steal Her Look: Sooyoung's Classy in White

Her Look:

All whites outfit of the day style is here to stay especially since summer has officially begun. Well, we all know that the colour white tend to reflect sunlight instead of absorbing it like the colour black so Noona thinks white is a great colour to wear under the sunlight.

"But won't I be look weird with all whites ensemble?"

The key idea to wear all whites #ootd is by mixing and matching different kind of materials and choose a bright colour accessory to pair the whole look. Sooyoung is spotted wearing a matching blazer and short (seems to have the same material and pattern) and a white top which seems to be made from a different material from the shorts and blazer.  If you think it is so much hassle to find three items in whites, you can opt for a playsuit instead of top and shorts. To boost the whole look, she wears the classy looking flap cover bag "Serpenti Forever" from Bvlgari.
