K-Fashion Inspiration: Still in Love with Mini Cross Bag by Kim So Hyun

One of the 1970's trend that Noona totally likes is the comeback of mini cross bag. Although it makes Noona in dilemma having to prioritise what to put and what not to put inside the mini bag. Great news for all mini-bags lover, a lot of Korean brands are still embracing the trend. And Hazzys has Kim So Hyun promoting its latest mini cross bag in peachy pink, which happens to be the trending color this year.

The mini-cross bag costs KRW 286,400 (approx. USD 240) on the online store

Even though Kim So Hyun wears the bag as if it's a clutch. The bag actually comes with a strap so you can wear it as a cross-body bag. Uhh, it's totally Noona's kind of bag. It's just a tad expensive though. U_U.

Anyone know if Hazzys often has online sale? XD #cheaponoona

K-Travel: The House at the End of the Road, Petite France

The haze is really terrible in Singapore today. Noona is seriously thinking of running out of the country but then...there's so much work to be done in the office and Noona's annual leave is totally not enough for an escape trip from the haze. Oh well, let's blog to escape the reality, shall we?

Now, where were we on the K-Travel segment? Right, we had not made a move from Petite France yet, hadn't we? Pardon me if my blog post seems to be very slow from moving on. But there are so many pretty things to see in Petite France. And who knows, more pictures will make you want to go all the more? #excuse

If you walk far enough to the section located further back in Petite France, you will see a stand-alone house at the end of the uphill road. This is actually the house where Song Ji Hyo found a Little Prince's coat in Running Man series, if you remember.

K-Travel: The House at the End of the Road, Petite France

Closer look of the house. Thanks goodness, it does not look horrific like some sort of abandoned house.

There are nothing much inside the house. But the wall is full of painting of celebrations in Petite France. For instance, this one is a wedding celebration.

The next painting shows a celebration in winter when Petite France is covered in snow. That looks lovely although it may be freezing cold in winter days.

K-Fashion Inspiration: The Art of Navy by AOA's Seolhyun

Being a relatively young girl group, AOA has taken the K-pop ride quite well too. This means, there is sure some fashion tips that we can get from these pretty girls. Let's see. Aha! How about some navy style? Noona is quite sure all of us has a bit of navy in our wardrobe. Somewhere. Hahaha.

Like what the navy top says, Noona totally has got a crush on Seolhyun's style. Navy top and dark blue denim skirt. Love!

If you opt for a plain denim skirt, you can have fun with the top. For examples, how about some bacon love? The funny bacon t-shirt from Etsy costs only USD16.40+

Etsy's Funny Bacon T-shirt

For the denim skirt, Chicwish's button up A-line denim may be a good match for the above top. It costs USD 43.

Pair them up with a good pair of white sneakers and you are good to go.

K-Food: A typical Korean restaurant in Myeong-dong alley, Seoul

Noona just had a pretty tiring weekend and all she wants to do now is dozing on her bed. Before dozing off she saw that her friend is now solo-travelling in Seoul and oh boy, look at those foodie pics that she posted. Geez, this kinda makes Noona missing Myeong-dong so much. To tell you the truth, a lot of good food that Noona tried last time, located at Myeong-dong. Just like this typical Korean restaurant at random Myeong-dong alley.

K-Food: A typical Korean restaurant in Myeong-dong alley, Seoul

The problem when you are neither speaking nor reading any Korean characters...oh wait, there are pictures on the wall. Let's just do a little match-the-characters mini game before ordering.

Food menu at a Korean restaurant in Myeong-dong alley Seoul

Banchan (re: Korean side dishes) is a must wherever you eat. Nom!

Korean side dishes

After a few minutes of match-the-character ordering system, Noona managed to order a mix of ramyeon and rice cake (ddeokbokki) in spicy sauce. This dish taste spicy fabulous.

Ramyeon ddeokbokki Korean food

The next dish looks like a Korean version of fried meatball. Slightly over-fried but nonetheless, all the fried stuff seldom goes wrong.

Korean fried meat balls in Myeongdong

Last but not least, Kimbap, which seems to be a popular meal amongst students in Korea. It's cheap and yet, very filling. A perfect value-for-money kind of dish.

You don't have to pay a high price to enjoy a simple Korean dishes in Myeong-dong. Isn't that great?

K-Travel: French Houses at Petite France, Gapyeong

While looking for the stamps, Noona and her friend stumbled upon a nice house. This house reminded Noona of the show she watched before called Running Man. If Noona is not wrong, this is where Haha get caught by Kim Jong Kook. LOL. Funny show, indeed.

K-Travel: French Houses at Petite France, Gapyeong

Closer look at the house.

The wall inside the house is painted with beautiful drawing of a village in France.

At the balcony, there is a traditional bell. Noona had fun ringing it. Hahahah.

Not sure why there is a Snow White reference here. But anyway, you can take a picture at random photo spot in Petite France, too.

K-Fashion Inspiration: I'm Flying Home by SNSD's Taeyeon

Noona always feels so happy whenever she's going to airport because it's either she's going overseas or going back home. Thankfully, Noona never has to go overseas for work-related matters (because usually people will get too busy to enjoy the trip, especially when they are going with their bosses, ouch!).

K-pop stars has made travelling to airport is way stylish nowadays. It's really the combination of stylish and comfy. As there is the aspect of comfy, their style is usually easier for us, commoners, to copy. Hahaha. Let's learn from Taeyeon today, shall we?

K-Fashion Inspiration: I'm Flying Home by SNSD's Taeyeon

Noona is not kidding when she says it's easy to copy. Noona's sure everyone has at least a pair of black pants, a grey tee and black cardigan. These three items are enough to re-create Taeyeon's airport fashion.

If you want to spice up the style a bit, you can pick the tees with some words or pictures. For instance, this is the butter gray t-shirt from Choies (USD 18).

Another one is from Topshop (USD 34). It has cutie cat popping out from the pocket. Awww.

Noona has just visited a Topshop store earlier, and instead of the cat, she found a popping French bulldog. LOL. The tee comes in white though.

Can't wait to wear this tee for the next airport fashion moment. =P

K-Fashion Inspiration: V-Neck Blouse by SNSD's Yuri

It really seems that Korea fashion and V-neck style goes along pretty well. There are so many V-line tops offered on the market and well, somehow, their V-line tops really looks good! Especially when it's worn by Yuri. =P

For something similar to Yuri's top, you can find it at Lucky Chouette's website. This V-line sailor top costs KRW 268,000. It will looks so good for office wear too.

Alternatively, there is another slightly cheaper option at KRW 248,000. This will suit those people who prefer top with shorter sleeves.

K-Fashion Inspiration: Take Me to the Library by Goo Hara

There is just so much stuff that Noona has to read nowadays, it's kinda getting the toll on her. Don't you feel that life is just getting kinda out of the hands lately too? If your life is also surrounded by books (or in Noona's case, paper), well, at least Goo Hara shows us that you can do it with style. XD

For the denim shirt (which is worn as a jacket), Noona found the similar one from Topshop costing USD 90.66.
 Topshop Boutique Bleached Denim Shirt

For the inside white shirt, the beads embellished collar white shirt from Chicwish looks quite suitable for the job. The shirt costs USD 36.38.

Last but not least, for the skirt, Romwe's Button Flare Denim Skirt seems to be a good alternative for it at the cost of only USD 15.90.

Let's persevere in our hardship with some style! Woot!

K-Fashion Inspiration: A Doglover's Day by TARA's Hyomin

Autumn is the season of comfy. And what makes it more comfortable than a boxy V-line sweatshirt and two cute dogs on our lap? It seems that nowadays cute pets have also become photoshoot prop. The animals do look great in camera too. #cleverbunch

Thanks to Hyomin, Noona is now mulling over the V-line blouse sold by Lucky Chouette. The price tag is not cheap though at KRW 268,000 (USD 230). But it really looks cute. And trendy too.

Why can't money grow on trees?

K-Fashion Inspiration: Looking Sexy with a Bardot Top by SISTAR's Bora

If you have a sexy shoulder and want to show it off without looking too much, bardot top is your best friend. For Cosmopolitan, Bora is wearing the one from Rebecca Minkoff below and looks how amazingly hot she looks without actually revealing too much.

K-Fashion Inspiration: Looking Sexy with a Bardot Top by SISTAR's Bora

The bardot top from Rebecca Minkoff has been out of stock but it does not mean the end of bardot top yet. Topshop, for instance, has a cute and cheaper alternative at US$43.

Topshop Bardot Top with Strap

Another one is a crochet lace bardot top from Missguided. It costs US$38.

Since it's all time summer in Singapore, Noona should probably start toning her shoulder and chest like crazy before wearing one. =P

K-Food: Soft Tofu Soup and Spring Onion Pancake Kind of Day

Once upon a lunch time, Noona and her friend did not know where to eat lunch. And since we were in the vicinity of COEX shopping mall, we decided to roam the mall.

COEX Seoul Korea

COEX is like the equivalent of Suntec in Singapore. It has convention centre, exhibition hall and underground shopping centre. Well, Noona and her friend are confident there will be food inside too.

COEX Shopping Centre at Seoul South Korea

We did find a restaurant at the corner of level 1. It was already late in the afternoon, around 3PM-ish. So there were nobody inside except for the restaurant's staffs. Good enough for us, at least our food would come out faster. Hahaha.

COEX's Jjigae and Pajeon Restaurant Seoul

The restaurant specialises in local Korean food so Noona tried their soft tofu soup (i.e. sundubu jjigae). This jjigae is the clear type and hence it's not red in color. The kimchi is served separately as a side dish.

Sundubu Jjigae at COEX Shopping Centre Seoul

Do note that a portion of pancake (i.e. pajeon) in Korea is always big. This is the spring onion pancake and wow, look at the number of spring onion layered on the top of the pancake. Crazy.

Noona has a spring onion overdose now. XD

K-Fashion Inspiration: Parisian Autumn by SNSD's Yoona

Maroon coat, striped sweatshirt and shorts. What can make you feel like you are a Parisian other than the combination of these fashion items. Yoona pulls it off perfectly in her advertorial shot for Korean fashion brand, H-Connect.

K-fashion Inspiration: Parisian Autumn by SNSD's Yoona

Too bad Singapore does not have autumn but Noona supposes she can adopts this style when it's time for her to travel somewhere. Haizz, Noona changed job at the wrong time. She should have changed job in winter time. XD

Although no one may be recruiting in Christmas season. LOL.

K-Fashion Inspiration: My Rose Pink Jacket by Kim So Hyun

Rose Pink is definitely Noona's favorite color this year. Noona hopes the color is exclusively appropriate for spring only. Well, Soup, a fashion brand from South Korea shows that rose pink is definitely the color for all season. There's no reason of why you can't wear rose pink jacket in the coming autumn.

If you happen to have a rose pink jacket, you may want to copy Kim So Hyun's style of pairing the jacket with a white top and black-and-white-checkered flare skirt.

K-Fashion Inspiration: My Rose Pink Jacket by Kim So Hyun

If you have a great pair of legs, you can wear socks like what Kim So Hyun does. Noona, herself, has a chubby pair of legs and hence this kind of socks is definitely a big NO for her. U_U.

If you share the same fate with Noona, you can opt for an ankle boots instead (in the effort to make our legs look longer). After all, it's fall and hence, we shall wear ankle boots! #excuse

K-Travel: The Little Prince's Hall of Fame, Petite France

As mentioned before, Petite France is adapted from the French storybook titled the Little Prince. So, there is an art gallery dedicated to the story of the Little Prince somewhere inside the theme park. If you wonder which house serves as the art gallery, you can go inside the door painted in green (Noona hopes they don't re-paint the door). XD

K-Travel: The Little Prince's Hall of Fame, Petite France

There are a number of child drawings of the Little Prince. The drawing skill of these children is amazing. Noona could only drew the classic mountain + sun + ricefield drawing which happened to be the only thing children drew in Noona's era. Hahaha.

Children's painting of Little Prince at Petite France

The French story books which have been translated into Korean language are also put on display here. Noona wonders why this particular story book is not as popular in other Asian countries as in South Korea.

Wall mural of the Little Prince. Noona so gonna draw a wall mural in her own room one day (probably when Noona finds her own place to stay).

You can collect stamps of the Little Prince here. There are a number of stamp stations scattered all over the theme park so this will be a nice addition to your stamp book. =)
